Mainland Automotive Collision is a trusted and well-established collision repair facility located in Vancouver, BC. Known for our commitment to quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. We service a wide range of makes and models, specializing in both bodywork and refinish collision restoration. We are currently seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our growing and dedicated team.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and assess damage on a wide range of vehicles
Perform structural and cosmetic repairs using welding, sanding, filling, and painting techniques
Remove, repair, or replace damaged vehicle components (e.g., bumpers, fenders, doors, panels)
Prepare vehicle surfaces for repair by filing, grinding, and sanding
Collaborate with estimators, painters, and fellow staff members for efficient job completion
Use diagnostic tools and equipment accurately
Follow OEM and industry-standard repair procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Uphold workplace safety standards at all times
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of hands-on auto body repair experience (required)
Red Seal Certification (preferred, but not mandatory)
Experience working in a body shop or collision repair facility
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Proficiency with hand and power tools related to bodywork
Detail-oriented with a high standard for quality and finish
Positive attitude and strong team player mindset
Valid BC Driver’s License with a clean record
